What's Important To Us

All children and young people have a right to live safely as part of a family and to feel a sense of belonging.

Most of the time children and young people grow up in their own family and whānau, where they are kept safe and nurtured but sometimes a child or young person may need to live with a family they are not born to. What these children and young people need is a home with a family and whānau where they will be safe and well cared for and have their needs met so that they can achieve their potential, and to have a sense of belonging.
